Listen More, talk less. Let the work speak for itself…
Actor Vivek Madan revealed in a conversation with Heena from India Series In Romania more things about him.
He is an upcoming, rising talent who has featured alongside Bollywood A-listers like Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and the living legend Amitabh Bachchan and yet remains rooted and his humility and affability are very endearing.
He has recently wound up work in Moscow on his new project ‘Runway 34’ (earlier titled ‘Mayday’) , a project that Vivek is very proud and excited to be associated with. It will release next year on April 29th, 2022. Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakulpreet Singh star in this high octane aviation thriller. This year Vivek will also be seen in the web series titled ‘Aranyak’, which will debut on Netflix shortly on 10th December 2021 and will be a same day global release. Vivek is paired opposite the lead protagonist Raveena Tandon as her husband! Most recently, he was also seen playing the suave and sophisticated antagonist Sankalp Chaudhary in the hit espionage thriller ‘Special Ops 1.5’, which released on 12th November ’21 on Disney-Hotstar, in which Vivek was featured with the likes of K.K. Menon, Aftab Shivdasani and Vinay Pathak. A few years back in ‘Talaash’, we remember seeing Vivek playing the character of mega-star Aamir Khan’s senior in the role of DCP Manish Awasthi.

In conversation, we asked Vivek about:
1.When did acting start to draw you in?
College – St.Xavier’s: truth be told, I whiled away time discovering my artistic inclinations & women and their engaging abstrusities.
2. How did the role of Fahad in Beintehaa come about?
I was called for an audition for Beintehaa as I was about to silence my phone before retiring to bed at 2 am! I
have learnt to identify ‘signs’ over the course of my diligent pursuits in the business & landed up for the test at 10 am at their office only to be told in a vague way that it is a role that is designed to offer some comic relief in the show’s proceedings.
3. What about your experience with the cast of Beintehaa?
There is order in chaos and art created in the midst of mounting pressures & stifling shooting circumstances. Thanks to the effervescence of Gunjan
( Nafisa ) & perkiness of Namrata ( Shazia ) & Nidhi ( Gauhar ) & the zany energy of Suchitra Pillai and Rituraaj we are kept in light spirits to survive the other wise intense process of work. Preetika is the epitome of grace and gentility. She is kindness personified. It was my good fortune to have her comforting, reassuring presence and friendship in the course of a very chaotic shoot. Preetika is the most gracious actress I have met in the TV business. I only have fond memories of her from our shooting days. I always wish the very best for her.
4. Beintehaa and Fahad are became very popular in Indian and beyond. What do you think about it?
Little did I imagine, on the daily run for the sets and back that the world is watching.
5. A role that you enjoyed playing the most till date:
Every role is enjoyable. The process of
discovering the part, working with a new team, the bonhomie on the sets & the solidarity of a family where one
feels the need to belong as long as it lasts…Much as I try I cannot work
with detachment …at least not yet…
6. Your favorite song, singer?
Patience – GNR, Rekha Bharadwaj, Jim
Morrison, Adele, Sunidhi Chauhan.
Wishing the talented actor all the best!
